I prefer rarity over stats or skin any day. I would rather have something unique which noone else can ever own than a normal weapon with better stats. Coolyguy had a no neg hammer and some random dude had a shining maul neither have played in like years. Anyway not bad seeing both hammers cost me total of 180k.

I agree - I figured that was why the cost was so high...it's just that the items with rare skins normally have crazy prices when they have functionality that is pretty close to a maximum version of the same weapon.

By the way, I'm absolutely drooling over the other old quest item hammer...+15 health on a hammer warrior (over the best alternative) isn't anything to take lightly.

i save up for expensive things and buy them to use. i customize everything i get that i am going to use, except staves and wands.

req 9 15^50 gothic dual axe
req 10 15^50 mursaat hammer
req 10 15^50 mursaat hornbow
req 10 15^50 zodiac longbow
req 10 15^50 fellblade
req 12 15^50 firey and icy blade axes
etc..

none are perfect, but i see no point in req 8 weapons when im the one thats going to be using them and do not plan to sell...always have a minimum of 12 weapon mastery anway..almost always more.

HOW DO YOU AFFORD THOSE 15% ALWAYS DWARVENS AND CRYSTALINES???!!!!!

the no conds, are, imo priceless for the most part, but they dont always have the highest going rates. spils 8 15% axe only cost him 400 ecto, which is pretty ludicrous when you consider it is the ONLY 8 15% no cond axe. granted, the skin wasnt the most popular.

No neg would get my vote and cash. Because of rarity and axes>swords

@ the guy with green axe..lol!! a green more vauleable then a 15^50 crystalline..never happen.

Items I have customized and no longer use:

Gordac's Needle - recreated with NF skin
Villnar's Wand - recreated with NF skin
Deadly Cesta (19/9 death, req 10, paid 75k)

That's it. Blood, Curses, Death. I use the first two on heroes now.

The last one went from being an awesome high-end MM wand, to worthless, when Factions came out. Still, I prefer my 20/20 death wand now

lol, as fun as it was creating my own little sword of 1000 truths, I think I've had enough.

I really love the tyrian sickle skin, though. Wish they dropped in max gold form. Same with tribal axes. Someday, maybe.

i sold him that no cond hammer back in january for...pretty cheap.
granted, i picked up in ice tooth cave from a guy who had NO idea what it was worth, for just under 300k.
still, i regret selling it (rams hammer skin).

The most expensive item I've customized was probably my r8 15/-5 stormbow awhile back. I'm sure it was one of the first 5 r8 15/-5 stormbows in the game.

I was about to buyout it and when I went to post in your sale thread cooly took the buyout which was I think somewhere around 140 ectos. I was uber annoyed so bought fow armor instead.

Here's my "real" collection of customized weapons. Nothing in comparrison to the dwarven or the crystallines but its cool. I'm a PVPer (converted PVEer) not a power trader.

I usually go for functionality and looks over rarity.

Well, the only thing I really customized my +5 energy Henge of Denravi sword I made a year back... I had no idea they'd rocket in price. And what was I going to use that HoD sword for?
